Valley Golf Course The 18-hole "Valley" course at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa facility in Palm Desert, California features 6,627 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 127 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ted Robinson, ASGCA, the Valley golf course opened in 1987. Marriott Golf manages this facility, with John Faulk as the Director of Golf/General Manager.
